Grow a Pair

This season for skiing has been, lackluster. At the beginning the snow wouldnt stop. The avi danger was intense, but the powder... incredible. Now the layers have consolidated and the melt freeze cycle is full on. But today I went to the lightning coulour to see how she was. The hike there was laden with elk poop and mountain lion tracks. Once we got to the bottom of it we realized its time was over. The chute itself has a great open face for some wide turns with a choke in the middle and a tier drop 20-10-20 cliff band that ends the tough stuff. Then just after that is a mandatory twenty footer into the avi prone bottom. Actually the whole thing is avi prone. Anyway the entire time I heard it speak to me as we approached. All I heard was, " Hey kid, why dont you come back in a few years and dont forget your A Game." It was embarrassing but it's always good to be humbled in life I suppose.
